Students of the Department of Sports Management of the Faculty of Sports Sciences held their Recreation, Tourism and Sports course at Narven.
Narven Thermal Town, which is located in Karacasu town of Bolu and has become one of the favorite tourism centers, contributes to education as well as holiday opportunities. Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Sports Management students had a fun and educational program at Narven Adventure Park within the scope of Recreation, Tourism and Sports course. Within the scope of this course, students are taught the management processes that are effective in organizing organizations related to recreation, tourism and sports, planning, implementation and finalization of these activities. Students taking the course thus learn the management processes of such projects and gain experience in Recreation Management, which is an important employment area. Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Aydın HIM, Vice Rector of BAİBU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hanifi UZUM, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and 100 students from the Department of Sports Management participated in the training program organized to implement the course given by Assist. Prof. Dr. Devrim BULUT. Within the scope of the program, after having breakfast in the activities before noon, a nature walk was made in Demirciler village. In the afternoon activities, zipline, giant swing and rope course were experienced in Narven Adventure Park and educational games where teamwork was emphasized were played.
