Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (BAİBÜ) Sports and Recreation community participated in the "wings for life world run (run for those who cannot run)" event organized simultaneously in 2 continents and 7 countries around the world.
6 billion 626 million TL aid was collected in the event organized in 7 countries on 2 continents in order to fund research for the treatment of spinal cord paralysis. The Turkish leg of the organization was held in Izmir. While 161 thousand 892 people around the world participated in the organization, about 10 thousand people participated in the Turkish leg held in Izmir. BAİBU Sports and Recreation Community President Ali Sefa AKGUN, as well as community managers Osman Haktan OZDEMIR, Emrullah KAYA, Salim Eren ERKUL and Emre DINC represented BAİBU as a 30 km pit team in the event.
President of the Sports and Recreation Community Ali Sefa AKGUN stated that he was happy to take part in the event and represent the BAİBU family.
