The Panel on Sports with World Champions organized by the students of the Department of Sports Management of our faculty was held at BAİBÜ Culture Center Blue Hall.

Aerobic Gymnastics World Champion Ayşe Begüm Onbasi, Artistic Gymnastics Ring Exercise World Champion Ibrahim Çolak and Ayse Begüm Onbasi's coach Mehmet Ali Ekin participated as panelists while Turkey Gymnastics Federation Vice President and Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Hasan Birol Yalcin participated as moderator. Bolu Deputy Governor Abdullah Sen, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alisarli, International Gymnastics Federation Vice President and President of the Turkish Gymnastics Federation Suat Celen, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Samettin Gunduz, Rector Prof. Dr. Umid Karli, Bolu Youth and Sports Provincial Director Emrullah Guler, academicians and students took part in the panel.

Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Devrim Bulut thanked those who contributed to the preparation of the panel

The opening speech of the panel was made by Dr. Lecturer of our Faculty, Department of Sports Management. Prof. Dr. Devrim Bulut made the opening speech. Bulut emphasized the importance of the dynamics behind the success of the panelists and thanked those who contributed to the preparation of the panel and concluded his words.
 

Prof. Dr. Umid Karli: "This Panel is for Those Who Do Their Job with Passion"

Our Dean Prof. Dr. Ümid Karli, who took the floor after Bulut finished his words, described the panel as a panel of those who do their job with passion. Karli stated that especially champions inspire young athletes, and thanked the organizers of the organization by stating that the students who continue their education in the academic field have gained a great gain with this organization.

Suat Celen "Bolu and Izmir are the Olympic Center of Gymnastics in our country"

Taking the floor after Karli, Suat Celen, Vice President of the International Gymnastics Federation and President of the Turkish Gymnastics Federation, said that Bolu is one of the Olympic centers of gymnastics in Turkey, that experience is obtained very expensively and requires great effort and investment. He thanked the organizing committee for their invitation.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alisarli: Bolu is Now the City of Gymnastics

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alisarli, who took the floor after Celen, stated that Bolu is known as the hometown of Köroğlu, the land of cooks and the city of İzzet Baysal, and said that Bolu will also be known as the city of gymnastics with the studies carried out. Alisarli emphasized the importance of the experiences of the panelists and stated that the students participating in the panel should benefit from these experiences. Emphasizing that the experiences of champions can shed light on the careers of individuals, Alisarli underlined the importance of the National Internship Program and thanked those who contributed to the panel and concluded his words.

Abdullah Sen "We are happy to be associated with Izmir in gymnastics"

After Alisarli concluded his speech, Bolu Deputy Governor Abdullah Şen expressed his happiness that Bolu is at the top in gymnastics and gave information about the activities in gymnastics in Bolu. Sen ended his speech by emphasizing that Bolu will have more and more weight in gymnastics, wishing the success of the athletes to increase and thanking those who contributed to the panel.

After Şen finished his speech, the panel discussion started.

In the panel, Aerobic Gymnastics World Champion Ayşe Begüm Onbasi, Artistic Gymnastics Ring Exercise World Champion İbrahim Colak and Ayşe Begüm Onbasi's coach Mehmet Ali Ekin answered the questions of the moderator Turkish Gymnastics Federation Vice President and BAİBÜ Faculty of Sports Sciences Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Hasan Birol Yalcıi. During the panel, Onbasi expressed her gratitude for the kind invitation, while Colak stated that she was happy to be on the panel. Onbaşı's coach Ekin thanked for being invited to the panel. Moderator Yalcin thanked the panelists for not turning down the invitation and participating in the panel. During the panel, Onbasi, Colak and Ekin shared what they felt during the championship. The panelists gave information about their efforts to become champions and talked about their future goals.
