OUR JUDO PLAYERS SECOND IN TURKEY IN KATA
Inter-University Judo Turkey Championship, hosted by Sinop University on May 03-05, was held with the intense participation of universities. Held in the 15 July Martyrs Indoor Sports Hall, individual women's 48 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg, 63 kg weight classes, men's individual competitions were held in 60 kg, 66 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg weight classes. At the end of the day, men's and women's kata competitions were held.

57 KG Women: Melike Keskinoglu and the Women's KATA team took the mat.
On the first day of the championship, our Women's KATA team took the mat as last year's champion. The KATA performance of Melike KESKINOGLU (Tori) and Cemre MALAKCIOGLU (Uke) was admired by all participants. Our team, which was seen as a candidate for the summit again, after the referee's evaluation as the second in Turkey, experienced the sadness of missing the first place and the pride of being on the rostrum again.
Also, in the individual competitions, where the excitement was at its peak and the competition was fierce;
Cemre Malakcioglu ranked 5th in Turkey in the medal match by providing a point advantage to her opponent at the last moment,
Melike Keskinoğlu completed the competitions as the 7th in Turkey in 57 kg.
