The volleyball tournament organized among the students of faculties and colleges at Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University was held in Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University. After exciting competitions, our faculty received their medals and cups as champions in women and men.
The award ceremony was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALISARLI, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Samettin GUNDUZ, Prof. Dr. Aydın HIM, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Ümid KARLI, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Muhammet Guzel KURTOGLU, Mengen Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Osman CAVUS, Director of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports Prof. Dr. Muhammet Guzel KURTOGLU, Director of Mengen Vocational School Dr. Prof. Dr. Osman CAVUS, Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Bayram KAYA, faculty members, students and citizens attended the event.
The volleyball tournament, organized by the Department of Health, Culture and Sports and the Faculty of Sports Sciences between 25 November and 30 December 2021 in order to increase the interest of students in sports activities, ended with the trophy ceremony held after the final matches. There was great interest in the tournament, where there were balanced struggles between the teams. Fans who supported their teams in the exciting matches added color to the tournament by supporting their fellow students with their cheers. Within the scope of the tournament; 15 teams for women and 17 teams for men competed in groups A, B and C. Referees from the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports officiated the matches.
At the end of the competitions; As a result of the women's final group matches played in the Faculty of Sports Sciences B Hall; Faculty of Architecture came 4th, Faculty of Education came 3rd, Faculty of Medicine came 2nd and Faculty of Sports Sciences came 1st. In the men's final group; Faculty of Dentistry came 4th, Bolu Vocational School came 3rd, Faculty of Tourism came 2nd and Faculty of Sports Sciences came 1st. The cup ceremony ended after the collective photo shoot.
