The students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences of our university held their first practical lessons within the scope of the Equestrian Course, which was added to the curriculum of the Department of Coaching Education as an elective sports course this year. The students practiced the subjects of meeting the horse, approaching the horse and dispatching the horse in tow.

Sami Halici; They stated that the lessons will continue on subjects such as horse welfare, horse care, horse health, horse exercise physiology, rider training science, equestrian sports competitions in order for students to become good riding coaches. In the Equestrian Sports Facility, which will be established within the Faculty of Sports Sciences with the support of our university, students and administrative and academic staff will be able to take equestrian lessons, so that equestrian sports will be popularized throughout the university, and they will carry out activities in many equestrian sports branches such as traditional horse archery, horse endurance and many similar equestrian sports branches together with basic equestrian training.
Thanks to the trained students and members of the Equestrian Sports Community, it is aimed to spread equestrian sports academically in Turkey, especially in Bolu province, to spread equestrian sports at the grassroots level with social responsibility projects to be developed with relevant institutions and to serve the country's sports.
