Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University Handball Men's Team was promoted to the Super League in the UNILIG Handball Super League Promotion Competitions.
UNILIG Handball Super League Promotion Competitions were hosted by Gazi University and Middle East Technical University between 4-12 May 2023. In the competitions, 300 athletes from 18 universities, including 9 women and 10 men teams, competed.
Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Devrim Bulut and Assoc. Assist. Koray Gokmen, our Handball Men's Team guaranteed undefeated promotion to the Super League with one match left. Our Handball Team, who played the last match against Gumushane University, lost 43-38 to Gumushane University in a fierce match and came 2nd in the Super League.
BAİBÜ Handball Men's Team defeated Koç University 38-25, Yıldız Technical University 44-32, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University 33-31, Cukurova University 43-34 and Giresun University 33-31.
Our Dean Prof. Dr. Umid KARLI, who watched the final match of our team live, congratulated our Handball Men's Team for their perseverance and determined play against their rivals in the Super League Promotion Competitions and wished them success in the Super League.
