Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (BAİBÜ) Men's Tennis Team became the champion of Turkey in the 2nd League Tennis Tournament organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation, while the Women's Tennis Team came 3rd in the group.
Interuniversity 2nd League Tennis Tournament was held in Antalya between February 26-29, 2020. The team, coached by Burak BOCEKCİ and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hanifi UZUM and consisting of Uğurcan OZER, Doğan BAYRAK, İbrahim HABIBANA and Habib ERDOGAN, defeated Istanbul Medipol University and Galatasaray University with 2-1 scores and Necmettin Erbakan University with 3-0, and reached the final as the group winner.
Our team, which became the champion by defeating Pamukkale University, the winner of the other group, 2-1 in the final match, thus qualified for the 1st League.
The women's team consisting of Ece AYDOGAN, Fatma SAGLAM, Ezgi GOLCUK and Eda ISIK managed to finish 3rd in the group.
