A staff volleyball tournament was organized within our university for the 100th anniversary of our Republic. The final group matches of the tournament, which was organized by the Department of Health, Culture and Sports between September 19 and October 12, 2023, were held on Tuesday, October 10.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Coşkun Karaca, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Umid Karli, Deputy Secretary General Nihani Yildirim, Head of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports Bayram Kaya, academicians, administrative managers, students and sports fans attended the tournament.
In the final match, the Faculty of Sports Sciences, which fought fiercely with Yaşar Çelik Vocational School, became the champion with a score of 3-2.
After the victory, the Faculty of Sports Sciences Volleyball team was given a victory dinner by our Dean Prof. Dr. Ümid Karlı.
The trophy and medal ceremony of the tournament will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 14.00 at İzzet Baysal Cultural Center Blue Hall within the scope of the 100th Anniversary of the Republic Celebration Events program.
