We met with Prof. Dr. Gazanfer DOGU, who was the Founding Director of our Higher School and retired recently after serving for many years, at Gazelle Resort Hotel for dinner as BESYO staff.
After the dinner, our School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umid KARLI made a speech about the meaning and importance of the day and expressed his thanks to Prof. Dr. Gazanfer DOĞU for his services. Prof. Dr. Gazanfer DOĞU, who took the floor afterwards, had emotional moments in his speech, talking about the difficulties and memories experienced during the establishment of our college. After his speech, our School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umid KARLI presented a plaque and a gift to our professor. In addition, our Head of Sports Management Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Birol YALCIN presented flowers to Melek Hanim, the esteemed wife of our professor. The night, which passed in the warmth of the family environment, ended with the photos taken together.
As BESYO staff, we would like to thank our professor for his colleagueship, friendship and selfless work he has done during the period from our establishment to today, and we wish him a healthy and happy life with his family and all his loved ones in his retirement life.
