WE MET AT THE GRADUATION CEREMONY
On 29.05.2024, the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Sports Sciences was held in the Blue Hall with the participation of BAİBU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aydın HIM, Youth Center Director, Academic and Administrative Staff, Students and valuable families. The ceremony started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem and continued with the speeches of our Dean Prof. Dr. Ümid KARLI, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aydın HIM and the Faculty's first student Furkan KUDU from the Department of Coaching Education.
Dean Prof. Dr. Ümid KARLI and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aydın HIM firstly mentioned the inhumane events in Palestine, cursed Israel and wished the Palestinian people to prosper. For our graduating students, Prof. Dr. Ümid KARLI said, “You are graduating with a very good education for four years. You will definitely see the difference of the education you have received in the work field. I wish you success in your future life and express my gratitude to the families of our students.” and our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aydın HIM: “We are as happy, honored and proud as you in this graduation ceremony where you, students and parents are very happy. There is a four-year labor behind this graduation. In this four-year process, our teachers have shown great devotion in order to train our students in the best way. You, our students, trust yourself and do your profession with love.”
At the graduation ceremony, the Trabzon team of the Turkish Folk Dances and Folk Music Ensemble performed and the music performances of the music teaching students of the Faculty of Education were performed.
After the speeches and performances, graduation certificates were presented to the students of the Department of Coaching Education, Department of Sports Management and Department of Physical Education and Sports respectively, accompanied by a video presentation prepared by our graduating students. At the end of the ceremony, the ceremony ended with all students throwing their caps into the air.
We wish success and happiness to our students who graduated from our faculty.
